See, I’m not a sociopath (as you not-so-subtly suggested, based on the fact that I use laughter as a healing tool). I am simply WELL. Not a hot mess, not a trainwreck. And when you collapse, I don’t want to be your therapist or your addiction or your fantasy, because instead I want to be the woman who loves you. The word “love” doesn’t nearly express what I mean anymore. But I tell you anyway. And I show you in all that I do, because love is a verb. When you tell me you made an appointment to check your sperm count, that might be the greatest expression of love I can imagine. Thank you. Then you tell me you don’t know what you want. You say you take life one day at a time. One day at a time, you cancel our plans. And you tell the world that you miss your late ex, that you and she were perfect. Oh my god. “You don’t have to call me God, just call me Dill Pickle.”
- Be Human, being (part two)by marissaevel
“Think more, and believe less.” – John Trudell.
https://youtu.be/180vRsMmqNIThis concept becomes more controversial as each year passes, because belief is the Kool-Aid which has polluted the clear waters of human thought. Without belief, gaslighting, brainwashing, and control through fear would not be possible. Humans, like all animals, are born with millions of years of survival instinct in our very DNA. We share this DNA with all of nature. Nature is our foundation, our roots. Only manipulation of thought through belief is can rob us of that stability.
As a human born in liberal Northern California, my mental clarity and flexibility of thought were valued by the American public school system of the 1980’s-90’s, and by my parents. I was never taught to believe in a God, and most importantly, I was never taught to believe that I, as a human, was born into sin.
So I was not affected when a church-going classmate told me I was going to Hell. I did not consider this life to be a test or a pit-stop on the way to a “better place.” What an arrogant, dangerous and unintelligent belief!
- Be Human, being (part one)by marissaevel
We humans have an innate need for rituals and ceremonies because we are part of Nature. And the very nature of Nature is ritualistic. The Sun is a strict adherent to its ritual of rising and setting. Its complement, the moon, adheres to its own such ritual. Their rituals perform a cyclical dance and form a relationship that keeps us all alive. All living things which are born on Earth are here to LIVE. Living is our birthright and our ritual.
But living is no longer acceptable behavior here in the 21st Century. A human is no longer an acceptable thing to be. As hyperbolic as this assertion may appear, the truth is that both religious and secular belief systems have been poisoning the minds of humanity into coherence, en masse. Everyone is drinking the KoolAid this time around.
Speaking of the Devil, the Reverend Jim Jones was not a religious man. He used religion as an effective bait-and-switch tool to brainwash and manipulate a large group of followers via “faith.” He also manipulated non-believers into “believing” he was a religious whack-job. This is how humans are best led to their own slaughter: divide and conquer.
Most importantly, divide humans from Nature.

Do not panic!
Please form a single file line at the doorway. Move quickly but do not be alarmed. Begin moving quietly and calmly along the pre-determined route printed on the map posted near the door. Do not get out of line. Do not talk amongst yourselves. Follow my instructions, or else…
If this had been an actual emergency, I would have told you so and would have provided you with further instructions for your safety. This is just a drill. This is only a test of your obedience. Please return to your cages now and remain in a single file line, returning along the same predetermined route. Do not talk amongst yourselves. Follow my instructions, or else…
